Kim joined the firm in 2015 and brought eleven years of Venture Capital finance and accounting experience to the Pelion team. Her prior experience includes direct venture investment funds, fund-of-funds and private equity accounting. As CFO, Kim’s key responsibility is ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the firm’s GAAP financial statements, including the valuation analysis of portfolio company, coordinating and executing the annual financial audit, assist in the reporting and audit functions required by the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC). As the key person for the firm’s investor relations, Kim also manages all financial reporting to our Limited Partners. Kim represents Pelion on the Advisory Board of the Women Tech Council, a national organization focused on the economic impact of women in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Pelion, Kim worked at firms such as TeleSoftPartners, Legacy Venture, and Partnership Capital Growth Advisors. She started her career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touchewith a focus on technology clients. Kim earned her B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
